Dialight to Demonstrate “Green” Benefits of LED Lighting at World Energy Engineering Congress

Dan Polito to Highlight Money- and Energy-Savings of High-Efficiency, Low-Maintenance LEDs for Commercial & Industrial Applications; Dialight Technology on Display at Premiere Energy Forum

Farmingdale, NJ (December 1, 2010)—Dialight (LSE: DIA.L), an innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, announced today that Chief Marketing Officer Dan Polito will be a featured presenter highlighting the “green” benefits of LED lighting technology for commercial and industrial buildings during the World Energy Engineering Conference (WEEC), December 8-10 in Washington, D.C.

Polito’s talk, “How Commercial & Industrial Buildings are Becoming Greener with LED Lighting Technology,” is set for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9 in Presentation Area 2 of the WEEC 2010 Exhibit Hall at the Washington Convention Center. Showcasing various customer case studies and application scenarios, Polito will highlight the key benefits of converting commercial and industrial spaces from conventional lighting to LED—including reduced energy consumption and carbon emissions, significantly lower overall maintenance cost and even the opportunity to benefit from available rebates for making the switch.

“As companies become increasingly aware of both the environmental and financial benefits of converting to LED lighting, a growing number are asking, ‘Why wouldn’t you make the switch?’” Polito said. “Today’s LED technology can be deployed in a wide range of applications, including hazardous locations, to slash energy consumption and the associated costs, and virtually eliminate maintenance over the life of the fixture, for both immediate benefit and long-term positive ROI.”

Presented by the Association of Energy Engineers and hosted by SAIC, the WEEC is recognized as the most important national energy event for end-users and energy professionals in all areas of the energy field. Providing a truly comprehensive forum for “big picture” assessment, the WEEC features a large, multi-track conference agenda, seminars and an expo of the market’s most promising technologies.

Dialight officials will be on hand at Booth #609 to demonstrate the company’s innovative, market-leading LED lighting technology for commercial and industrial applications throughout the event. For more information and to register for the WEEC, visit http://www.energycongress.com/.
