Dialight Reveals 107 Lumen per Watt LED High Bay with Integrated Long Life Power Supply

 
Ultra efficient Dialight LED high bay sets the standard with industry leading 10 year full performance warranty

Farmingdale, NJ (August 13th, 2013) – Dialight (LSE: DIA.L), the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today announced its innovation program has gained UL certification and CE compliance for its DuroSite® LED High Bay and Low Bay product portfolios for industrial applications with a new long life power supply.  With efficiencies up to 107 lumens per Watt, the new power supply will be available in 17,000-3,800 lumen output fixture versions.

Dialight Launches New CID2 25,000 Lumen SafeSite® LED High Bay with 10-year Full Performance Warranty

Farmingdale, NJ (August 6th, 2013) – Dialight (LSE: DIA.L), the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today unveiled the first-ever Class I Div. 2 certified 25,000 lumen SafeSite® LED High Bay to come with a 10-year full performance warranty. The high output LED High Bay offers superior illumination and efficiency for oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other hazardous location rated applications.

Now offering a broad portfolio of LED hazardous location certified fixtures, Dialight leads the industry in output, energy efficiency and lifetime performance. Unlike other similar fixtures, the entire SafeSite fixture, including the power supply, is covered by a 10-year full performance warranty. This provides the consumer with a decade of zero maintenance, peace of mind and lower total cost of ownership.

The 25K lumen High Bay includes an integrated power supply with 10kV surge protection, specifically designed for the fixture and hazardous location applications. With full quality control over every component within the electronic system, Dialight’s designs are based on topologies and design techniques developed over several years.  With a weight of 30 lbs. and 14” in height, the easy to install High Bay can be mounted at 35’ and above the factory floor while producing efficient lighting.

Engineered with Dialight’s exclusive reflector-based optics, the High Bay is Dark Sky Compliant for exterior hazardous locations and provides a crisp, clear white light precisely where it is needed to improve color rendering for superior visibility and safety.
As the latest addition to Dialight’s world-class LED product portfolio, the new 25K lumen SafeSite High Bay is L70 lifetime rated for more than 100,000 hours and operates in temperatures ranging from -40C to +65C.  The 25K lumen LED High Bay is also available in general purpose CE and UL versions.

Dialight’s SafeSite® Stainless Steel LED Linear Fixture Achieves Brazil’s INMETRO Certification


Industry-Leader in LED Hazardous Location Lighting Adds Another Qualified Product for Brazilian Oil & Gas, Chemical Industries

Farmingdale, NJ (August 5th, 2013) – Dialight (LSE: DIA.L), the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today announced its SafeSite® Stainless Steel linear fixture is now INMETRO certified for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations in Brazil. As the fifth Dialight fixture to achieve INMETRO certification, Dialight’s ultra-efficient and durable hazardous location LED lighting is highly suited to drastically reduce energy and maintenance costs while improving safety for Brazil’s oil, gas and petrochemical locations.

This new certification for the SafeSite Stainless Steel linear fixture will provide lucrative new market opportunities in a Brazilian oil and gas market that continues to see tremendous growth. With the U.S. Energy Information Administration reporting it as the world’s tenth largest oil producer in 2012 and projecting it to hit 3.0 million barrels per day by the end of 2013, Dialight provides the best LED lighting options for companies looking to maximize safety and environmental sustainability while improving their bottom lines.

The 25-pound fixture is housed in 316 Marine grade stainless steel with a high-impact resistant polycarbonate lens and is IK-09 to EN 50102 impact-rated — all backed by a 5-year full performance warranty. The Stainless Steel fixture is also certified to IECEx, ATEX and UL844 hazardous locations standards.

The 110-250V SafeSite fixture is shock compliant to MOD specification BR8470 to Grades C and D and holds an L70 lifetime rating of more than 100,000 hours. The Stainless Steel Linear fixture is T4 temperature rated for reliable performance from -20C to +60C and provides several different mounting options to meet industry demands.

Dialight Announces New Intertek-Certified Photometric & Electrical Lab at NJ HQ


Worldwide LED Lighting Leader Joins Intertek’s SATELLITE™ Program with Level IV Lab; New In-House Testing & Certification Capability will Speed R&D, New Product Development and Time to Market

Farmingdale, NJ (August 1, 2013) – Dialight (LSE: DIA.L), the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, today announced the opening of its new on-site Intertek Lab at the company’s North American headquarters in Farmingdale, N.J.

The Dialight Photometric & Electrical Lab is one of only a few Level IV facilities in the industry, qualified through the Intertek SATELLITE™ Data Acceptance Program to independently conduct IES-LM-79-08 Approved Method: Electrical and Photometric Measurements of Solid-State Lighting Products and In-situ Temperature Measurement Tests (ISTMT). With this lab located in their headquarters, Dialight can now generate the required IES files needed to certify the performance of its industry-leading commercial and industrial LED lighting solutions.

“We’ve invested heavily in the state-of-the-art equipment and facility required to do our own in-house testing, speed time to market, and optimize our product development and R&D timeline to strengthen our first-to-market competitive edge,” said Roy Burton, Dialight’s Group Chief Executive. “Our lab has undergone extensive auditing through Intertek to achieve Level IV status and we’re already putting it to work in developing the next-generation of LED products to meet our customers’ quickly evolving needs.”

Intertek, a (LSE: ITRK) a leading international provider of testing, inspection and certification services, operates the SATELLITE program that integrates speed, flexibility and cost effectiveness into the product development process, enabling Dialight to test at a lower cost and with more control over the testing queue and priority. Its recognition as a Level IV SATELLITE facility is indicative of Dialight’s quality assurance and precision design focus that enabled it to meet the stringent standards of the SATELLITE program.

The ultra-modern lab includes a new LSI High-Speed Moving Mirror Goniophotometer Series 6240T, as well as a latest-generation Instrument Systems CAS140B Spectrometer with integrating sphere. The new equipment enables Dialight certified lab technicians to independently measure and validate LM-79 and ISTMT data, including total lumen output, lumen efficacy over time, color rendering (CRI) and color correlation temperature (CCT) and junction level. The entire lab must undergo periodic Intertek audits to maintain its Level IV status with maximum 4% tolerance.
